Boys golf teams will play their sectional tournaments Friday, with those teams and individuals who advanced moving on the district round next week.
Perry will play in a Class 3A sectional at Ames Country Club (Gilbert hosts), with qualifiers moving on to the May 18 district at Lake Creek Country Club in Storm Lake.
Panorama will be in Menlo at the 5×80 course Friday for 2A action, with Lake Panorama National hosting the district round May 18.
W-G golfers will tee it up Friday at Carroll CC, with Kuemper the host school. Their 2A district will be played May 17 at Landsmeer GC in Orange City, with Unity Christian the host.
The 3A state tourney will be at Lakeside CC in Fort Dodge, with the American Legion GC in Marshalltown hosting the 2A tourney. Both will be played May 24-25.
The girls golfers begin regional play May 14 in Class 1A and 2A. W-G, a 1A in girls play, will tee it up at Anita, with qualifiers moving on to Atlantic May 21.
Panorama is a 2A and will host a regional semifinal May 14 at Lake Panorama National, with the regional final May 21 at 5×80 in Menlo.
Perry, a 3A team, plays only one postseason round. They will be in action May 21 on the hilly course at Oakland Acres outside of Grinnell.
The girls state tournaments will be played May 29-30, with 1A at the American Legion in Marshalltown, 2A at Lake Panorama National in Panora and 3A at Coldwater Golf Links in Ames.
