  • A deputy investigated a report of smoke in Rippey. The smoke was steam coming from the dryers at the co-op.
  • A deputy conducted a traffic stop on H Avenue and 130th Street. Richard Sabus, 56, of Churdan was arrested for driving without an interlock device and driving while barred. Sabus was booked into the Greene County Jail.
  • A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on D Avenue near 177th Street.
  • A deputy investigated an animal neglect complaint in the 800 block of 330th Street.
  • The Greene County Sheriff investigated an illegal dumping complaint on Eaton Avenue at Brown’s river access.
  • The Greene County Sheriff assisted with putting cattle back in the fence on A Avenue near 170th Street.
  • A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near E Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated a dog bite in the 500 block of Madison Street in Scranton.
  • Marcus Cannon, 29, of Jefferson was booked into the jail for a probation violation.
  • A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of 210th Street.
  • A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near S Avenue.
