Halloween to be celebrated Monday night in Perry

Perry residents are reminded the Perry City Council has designated Monday, Oct. 30 from 6-8 p.m. as Trick or Treat Night or Beggars’ Night. Residents are encouraged to turn on their porch lights if they are handing out treats, and motorists are reminded to drive safely during the witching hours.

The Dallas County Hospital’s annual Safe and Healthy Halloween event is Monday, Oct. 30 from 5-6:30 p.m. The kid-centered event features a fun and safe night of trick-or-treating.

The annual Perry Chamber of Commerce Trick or Treat SPOOK-tacular will take place Monday, Oct. 30 from 4-6 p.m. in downtown Perry. The event is a fun Halloween celebration that will includes safe trick-or-treating with local merchants and service providers.

The Perry Fire Association’s Haunted Barn continues through Saturday, October 28 from 7- 11 p.m. The cost is $5 per person. The Haunted Barn is located in the Perry Marketplace at the corner of First and Willis avenues.
