Woodward-area residents took the edge off of Friday evening’s damp coldness with a supper of ham balls, cheesy potatoes, green beans and fresh pie at the Christian Church.
Dan Haymond of Perry was among the many diners, but his customary church-dinner companion, Doug Wood of Perry, was away on business in Vinton, his hometown.
