About 250 people ate some 40 dozen eggs and a comparable quantity of pancakes and pork sausage Saturday morning at the Bouton Community Center, where breakfasts resumed after a two-year gap.
“I sure did miss these breakfasts,” said one happy diner while waiting in a serving line that at times nearly encircled the perimeter of the facility.
The fundraising breakfasts help finance equipment for the city fire department and improvements in the city’s streets. The last Bouton breakfasts was held Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019.
