Woodward-Granger third baseman Jay Dorenkamp lunged to his right to knock down a hard-hit ball and save a sure double, but his throw to first base to nail the Winterset batter was a step late. Center fielder Bryce Achenbach and shortsop Reese Jamison look on for the Hawks.
