Ivory chosen for IBCA All-Star Team

Perry senior guard Shammond Ivory has been selected for a spot on the 2016 Iowa Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Team.

Ivory is one of only 40 senior boys or girls basketball players in the state to be selected to participate in the IBCA Games on March 26 at the DC-G varsity gym in Grimes.

The all-time leading scorer in school history, Ivory has 1,643 points after scoring a game-high 21 points in Monday’s 57-50 Class 3A District 15 Semifinal win over DC-G in Adel. He scored 505 points last season and has 446 this year. His 22.3 points per game average is tied for fifth-best in Class 3A for players appearing in more than 10 games.
