WINTERSET — Perry senior Delaney Eiteman fired a personal-best low of 44-49–93 to finish fourth and claim All-Raccoon River Conference First Team honors Monday at the conference tournament.

“I am very proud of Delaney,” Perry girls head coach Joel Happel said. “Senior year conference tourney is a great time to shoot your best score! I am very happy for her — she works hard and is a good leader.”

Team champion Carroll had golfers earn spots 1-2-5, with Sydney Haakenson (44-46–90), Grace Pettitt (47-44–91) and Josie Pettitt (48-46–94) filling those places. Winterset’s Natalie Drake lost a tiebreaker with Grace Pettitt at 44-47–91) to finish in front of Eiteman.

Carroll, who easily won the team title at 371, also had the sixth-lowest score in the 49-47–96 provided by Laura Sweeney.

Winterset was second at 407, with Ballard third at 422. Carlisle (423), ADM (431), Bondurant-Farrar (463) and Perry (478) completed the field. Boone does not have girls golf.

In addition to Eiteman, Perry counted the cards turned in by Bryce Eastman (67-59–126), Ainsley Marburger (60-68–128) and Jayna Kenney (67-64–131). Kennedy Tunink (75-63–138) and MaryLou Ledesma (70-71–141) also made the circuit for Perry.

Perry will return to Winterset when they join DC-G for a triangular May 13.
