Veteran head coach Jean Dowd took the opportunity to tweak her lineup Tuesday, and the results were as pleasant as could be expected, as Perry posted a 90-51 win over Algona at the McCreary Community Building pool.

The quartet of Zoe Hibbert, Jaylene Karolus, Quin Mahler-Moreno, and Sophia McDevitt, won the 200 medley relay in 2 minutes, 4.2 seconds, and the 400 freestyle relay in 4:02.21 while Emily Dowd, Jenna Nelson, Lilly Riley, and Hibbert posted a season-best 2:02.01 in the 200 free relay.

McDevitt (2:09.89), Nelson (2:24.1), and Dowd (2:25.1) were 1-2-3 in the 200 free, with Hibbert (27.95), Riley (29.71), and Hailey Peterson (38.73) were 1-2-5 in the 50 free. Riley and Peterson both had personal-best times in the race.

Karolus won both the 200 IM (2:25.85) and 100 butterfly (1:03.04), with Mahler-Moreno (57.52) first and Nelson second (1:05.9, a PB) in the 100 free.

Riley won the 500 free in a PB of 6:17.78, with Mahler-Moreno claiming the 100 breaststroke in 1:13.22 while McDevitt and Dowd were 1-4 in the 100 backstroke in 1:07.5 and 1:26.91, respectively.

Perry will resume competition Sept. 23 with a visit to Fort Dodge, with Algona also expected to attend.
