CARROLL — Perry senior Alyssa Kruger finished one stroke shy of claiming an individual conference championship at the Raccoon River Conference tournament Monday.

Kruger navigated the Breda Golf Club with a 45-42–87 to place second, one stroke behind Carroll’s Somer Sinnard, who posted an 86.

Carroll was simply dominant, finishing with the 1-4-5-9 overall individuals to post a 364, 38 strokes clear of runner-up Ballard’s 402.

Carlisle shot 408 to place third, with Bondurant-Farrar (410), Winterset (412), ADM (424) and Perry (472) following. Boone does not have a girls golf team.

In addition to Sinnard’s 86, Carroll received cards of 90 from Grace Pettitt, of 92 from Sydney Haakenson and of 96 from Josie Pettitt.

Perry was without Molly Lutmer, who dual-sports with soccer and is in the concussion protocol and unable to complete, with a scheduling conflict denying Perry the services of senior Hannah Roberts.

Skylar Cunningham and a 51-52–103 for Perry and Delaney Eiteman a 53-52–109, with Ainsley Marburger providing the fourth score.

Kennedy Sorenson (43-45–88) was the low player for Carlisle and Brenna Hamorg (45-48–93) for B-F. Alle Echer shot a 47-46–93 to pace Ballard, with Corry Pickering leading Winterset with her 47-48–95 while a 50-49-99 from Alyssa Pingel was the low round for ADM.
