  • Meri Nelson reported a dog running loose in the 600 block of W. South Street.
  • An officer completed a funeral escort.
  • An employee at a local retail store reported a driving complaint in the 500 block of N. Elm Street.
  • As a result of a traffic stop at the intersection of Westwood Drive and Rushridge Road, Nathan Anderson of Jefferson was issued a citation for excessive speed.
  • As a result of a traffic stop at the intersection of W. South and S. West streets, Neysa Halverson of Jefferson was issued a citation for use of electronic communication device while driving.
  • An officer responded to 108 E. Central St. after the officer received a report of a male in a vehicle laying his head on the steering wheel and not moving. The officer spoke with Richard Phinney, who was found to be okay.
  • As a result of a traffic stop at the intersection of N. Elm and W. Stanford streets, Justin Downs of Churdan was issued a citation for driving while license suspended.
  • An officer responded to 408 S. Olive St. to remove a bat from a house.
  • Officers searched the 400 block of N. Elm Street after hearing a loud clanging noise in the area. Everything was found to be okay.
