- Power Lift reported being the victim of a fraud in Georgia. A company ordered $102,990 of cardio equipment, and the equipment was delivered to a Georgia address. After the delivery was made, the ordering company claimed their company had not ordered the equipment or received it. This is part of a nationwide scam that has occurred to several companies such as Power Lift nationwide. The authorities in Georgia are working on this fraud case.
- An officer assisted the Greene County Ambulance with a medical call in the 400 block of Edgewood Avenue.
- A Greene County deputy requested a Jefferson officer to assist him by watching for a vehicle heading to Jefferson that was involved in a situation the deputy was currently working on. The officer did not see the vehicle enter Jefferson.
- Officers issued seven parking violation notices for street sweeping violations on the square Sept. 9.
