Thursday’s Latino Night at the Carnegie Library Museum offered a one-night-only opportunity to enjoy sweetbreads — like Concha — and hot chocolate and make a colorful, sparkly Concha ornament for your tree.

Guests included sisters Emma, Stella and Luna Cruz, who together with their mom, Edith Cruz, enjoyed the various activities.

The ninth annual Festival of Trees at the Carnegie runs through Saturday, Dec. 30, and  visitors can experience everything this free community event has to offer — from writing letters to Santa or the Wise Men (or both) to coloring, completing a scavenger hunt, choosing a free children’s book to take home, taking a snowflake ornament, voting for your favorite tree(s) and more.

The Festival of Trees is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with extended hours until 7 p.m. Thursday.
