The man has threatened self-harm, according to radio traffic, and is holding a gun to his head.
A 77-year-old female is an occupant inside of the residence, according to radio traffic.
Negotiators from the metro have been summoned to the scene.
The property is owned by George H. Hass of Bouton, according to county records.
The Granger Police Department, Dallas County Sheriff’s office and Dallas County EMS are on the scene.
