Perry High School junior Mary Ann Riesberg has been named the Perry Kiwanis Club Student of the Month for May 2019.
“Mary Ann is positive and hard working and just all around a great human being,” said the Rev. Jeremy Winter, president of the Perry Kiwanis Club, who presented a certificate to Riesberg.
“She is a fantastic leader in and out of the class,” Winter said, “and is always willing to work with and help any student. She is not afraid to step out of her comfort zone to help others be successful.”
Winter said Riesberg is always prepared for class and ready to participate and is always smiling and willing to help those around her. He called her “a great role model” for her fellow students.
“Congratulations, Mary Ann, on being the May Kiwanis Student of the Month!” he said.
