The strength of faith filled the auditorium of the Crossroads Church in Perry Sunday night when Megaforce Ministries staged the first of their four-night slate of shows featuring strong men Steve Carrier and Matt Stout.

Megaforce Evangelistic Ministries exists in order to provide “refreshing, soul-winning events” that draw “large masses of un-churched people to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”

More than 100 people attended the Sunday performance.

According to Carrier’s online testimonial, “Steve at an early age, was born crippled, having to wear braces on his legs in order to walk, and was told by professionals that he would, ‘never walk again.’ Through much faith Steve said, ‘I will one day be a professional Athlete!’ By the time he reached Graduation of his high school years, he had become the fastest runner in track and field in his school, the star basketball player and MVP of his high school basketball team, earning a ‘full-ride’ sports scholarship.”

This and similar miracles were described Sunday night by Carrier and Stout as they shared testimonials, solicited donations for their outreach ministries in Pennsylvania schools and performed feats of strength.

The 7 p.m. shows continue nightly through Wednesday at Crossroads Church, 2810 First Ave. Admission is free, and the public is welcome to attend.
