Perry's Kato Dougan pitches against ADM at Progressive Field Friday. Conner Kenyon catches for the Bluejays, with Kaleb Olejniczak in center field.

Perry was limited to just two hits while being shut out in five innings by visiting ADM, who rolled to a 10-0 win in Raccoon River Conference baseball Friday.

ADM (2-2, 2-0) turned a 2-0 lead after two frames into a 9-0 bulge an inning later en route to the win.

Perry (0-4, 0-2) continued to struggle at the plate, with singles from Alex Morales and Quinn Helmers and walks drawn by Avery Meister and Kaden Boyer accounting for the only Bluejay base runners.

Jake Larson allowed the two hits and two walks while pitching five frames for ADM. He finished with seven strikeouts, raising to 44 the number of Perry strikeout victims in 23-1/3 frames so far this season.

ADM’s Kaden Sutton hit a solo home run — his first career shot over the fence — while adding a double. Seth Williamson had two singles and Spencer Collins a double.

Chase Anderson had two hits, a walk, a stolen base, two RBIs and a run scored from his lead-off spot in the lineup.

Kato Dougan started for Perry and tossed 2-1/3 innings. He allowed seven runs (four earned) on five hits while walking two. Morales went 2-2/3 frames, yeilding three runs on four hits and three walks.

Perry hosts Carlisle Monday, visits Bondurant-Farrar Wednesday and will then entertain Ballard Thursday in a trio of RRC contests.
