The stretch from Perry first baseman Adriana's Eastman helps third baseman Peyton Tunink nip W-G's Emma Anderson.

WOODWARD — Denali Loecker struck out five batters and allowed just two singles in three short innings of work as Ogden ripped Perry, 12-0, at the W-G Softball Classic Saturday.

The Bulldogs (10-4) scored four times in the bottom of the first and then twice in the second before ending the game via the mercy rule with six tallies in the third.

Jenna Palmer had two doubles and four RBIs for Ogden, with Gabby Ross swatting a two-run double of her own.

Peyton Tunink suffered the loss for Perry. She pitched 2-2/3 innings, yielding 12 runs (seven earned) on seven hits, five walks and one hit batsman. The freshman finished with three strikeouts.

Lyida Olejniczak and Bella Nath each had singles for Perry to account for the lone Jayette runners to reach base.

Perry visits Gilbert Tuesday and ADM Wednesday before hosting Saydel Thursday.
