December 2, 2019

  • An officer provided traffic control for Chris Jones as he moved cattle from the west side to the east side of H Avenue north of Ogden.

December 3, 2019

  • An officer assisted Fang’s Automotive with an abandoned vehicle.
  • An officer received a complaint of a barking dog at 320 S. First St. The officer spoke with the owner of the dog, who said he would put a bark collar on the dog.
  • An Ogden resident reported he caught a dog running loose in the 200 block of S.W. Seventh Street. The owner was notified and came and picked up the dog.

December 4, 2019

  • An Ogden officer and Boone County Deputies responded to a reported breaking and entering at 443 E. Sycamore St. Jessica Peterson reported that Christopher Christian had broken into her home. A Deputy arrested Christian for criminal trespass and fifth-degree criminal mischief.

December 5, 2019

  • An Ogden officer and Boone County Deputy assisted the Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance at 114 W. Sycamore St.
  • Betty Brockett, 58, of Ogden reported that she was physically assaulted and spat upon by Jay Rothmeyer, 61, a resident of ACCURA Health. An officer issued a citation to Rothmeyer for simple assault, and he was released with a scheduled court appearance.
  • An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance at 307 S.W. Third St.
  • An officer received a report of possible fraud.
  • An officer was asked to check on the welfare of an Ogden resident. The person was fine.
  • An officer assisted a Boone County Deputy, Ogden First Responders, Ogden Fire Department and Boone County Ambulance with an accident involving personal injury in the 700 block of 220th Street westbound.

December 6, 2019

  • An officer was asked to check on welfare of an Ogden resident because his vehicle was home, but he was not. The person was located. He had been given a ride to a doctor’s appointment.
  • An officer received a report from an Ogden resident that his garage door was open when he came home from work, but it didn’t appear that anything was missing.
  • A Boone County Deputy responded to a report of an open door at a residence at 602 S.E. Second St. The family dog was out running around, and nobody appeared to be at home. The deputy secured the residence.

December 7, 2019

  • An officer investigated vandalism to a sign in the 400 block of E. Walnut Street.
  • An officer investigated vandalism to a sign at S. First and Division streets.
  • An officer assisted a person with a civil matter.
  • An officer investigated a vandalism complaint.

December 8, 2019

  • No activity reported.
