Perry center fielder Kaleb Olejniczak has been named to the Class 3A All-Southwest District First Team. The junior was the lone Bluejay to earn All-District honors.[wpedon id=”85410″ align=”left”]
Olenjniczak hit .364 and had an on-base percentage of .432, with his .576 slugging percentage leading the team.
He had two doubles, three triples and two home runs among his team-high 24 hits, and he led Perry by scoring 19 times. Olejniczak was 7-of-7 on stolen base attempts and was a tough out at the plate, striking out just three times in 74 total trips to the plate.
Perry finished 9-12 overall and placed third in the Raccoon River Conference with an 8-5 mark. The team was coached by Mike Long, Austin Daniels and Brad Snowgren.
