Some of the fourth and fifth grade PACES students chose to learn all about South Korea, and presented what they had discovered at a World Culture Fair Wednesday.

The students at PACES have been busy learning all they can about different countries and cultures, and they shared their finding with fellow students at a World Culture Fair Wednesday.[wpedon id=”85410″ align=”left”]

Students learned about the capital city and populations of the country they had chosen to study. Language, daily life and something of the history of the nation was also part of the lesson. Popular local foods were also learned, with each class presenting a representative treat from their chosen culture for all the students to enjoy.

The preschool learned about Netherlands and the kindergarten about El Salvador, with the first grade discovering interesting facts about Greece. The second grade split their assignment, studying geographical neighbors China and North Korea.

Nigeria was the chosen subject for the third grade, with students making decorative masks based on the many different tribes they learned lived in the African nation.

The fourth and fifth grade classes researched both South Korea and Australia, each group presenting a wealth of information about each country and culture.
