JEFFERSON — Host Greene County scored in each of their six at-bats to capture a 14-6 non-conference win over Panorama Saturday. The loss for the Panther baseball squad came two days after a WCAC sweep at Truro over Interstate-35, with Panorama winning on scores of 12-1 and of 13-4.

Greene County led, 3-0, before three Panther runs in the top of the third tied Saturday’s tilt. The Rams countered with 10 runs over the next three frames to fuel their win.

Two Panther runs in the second and one in the third pushed Panorama back in front, 6-4, with five runs in the fourth and two in the seventh adding to the margin.

Kirtley had three hits and Dominic Walker and Brice Taylor two singles and two RBIs apiece. Drew Taylor helped the offensive attack with two hits, three runs and a RBI.

Preston Walker won with four innings on hill. He allowed four runs on six hits and six walks while striking out two. Hunter Holmes threw three frames of relief, walking one, allowing one hit and sitting three down on strikes.
