The Panorama Panthers girls basketball team, ranked ninth in class 2A, took on the ACGC Chargers Friday night. Panthers came out on top with a 59-31 victory.

“The way we shared the ball and attacked the gaps allowed us to shift their defense and get scores,” said Coach Boettcher.

Jaidyn Sellers led Panther scoring with 22 points. Tyme Boettcher came out with 15 points and 12 rebounds, and Mia Waddle was busy with 10 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Kaitlin Kent added 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals.

The Panthers rebounding was on point. Coach Boettcher said, “Our rebounding, both offense and defense, gave us second chance opportunities and stops to run the floor.”

The Panthers are now 12-0 in conference play and 15-1 overall. Their next game will be a non-conference match-up Tuesday at Martensdale St. Mary’s, who are rater 15th in class 1A. The Panther girls play at home Thursday against Exira-EHK.
