PANORA — The Panorama wrestling team saluted their senior class Thursday while winning all three of their matches in a quadrangular to lift their team dual record to a sparking 22-2 on the season.

Panorama opened with a 54-11 win over Lynnville-Sully before whipping Pleasantville, 62-11. North Polk challenged the hosts and held a 33-26 lead with three matches remaining before a trio of Panther pins created a 44-33 win for the hosts.

The Comets looked to be in good position to knock off the Panthers after a pin at 160 pounds opened a 33-26 margin. Garret Fox stepped up for the hosts with a huge win, pinning Josiah Delavois in 39 seconds to move the score to 33-32. A loss by fall would have kept Panorama from any chance at a win, but Fox’s victory set the stage for pins by Gunnar Grunsted (up a class at 182) in just 21 seconds, and from Trevor Carey (up a class at 195) in 45 ticks to secure the victory.

Kaleb Stogdill of Panorama pinned Luke Woosley of Carroll at 152-pounds in the Perry Invite Jan. 13.

Fox was 1-1 at 160 with a forfeit, with Grunsted 2-0 at 170 with a pin and a forfeit while Carey finished 2-0 at 182 with a pin and forfeit. Chris Allison has competed in the other match at 160 but was unable to collect a win.

Also splitting divisions was Dalton Holmes, who was 2-0 with a decision and a forfeit at his normal 195, with a win by pin at 220 lifting Holmes to 3-0 at the quadrangular.

Danny Nordquist (126 pounds) was 3-0 with a pin and two forfeits, with Wyatt Appleseth (132) 3-0 by two forfeits and a major decision while a major decision, a technical fall and a forfeit lifted Noah Kirtley to 3-0 at 138 pounds.

Kaleb Stogdill scored two pins to finish 2-1 at 152, with Dan Jensen (285) and Logan Christe (106) both 2-1 with each winning twice by forfeit. Wyatt Clark won by forfeit in finishing 1-2 at 120, with Emry Colby 1-2 at 145 with a win by fall.

Panorama returns to action Saturday at the annual Charger Invitational in Guthrie Center.
