Panorama netters fall to host Van Meter

VAN METER, IA — Van Meter improved to 6-2 overall and 3-0 in WCC volleyball with a 3-0 win over visiting Panorama Tuesday. The loss drops the Panthers to 2-4, 0-2.

The Bulldogs won on scores on 25-9, 25-14, and 25-12.

Jaidyn Sellers led the guests with four kills, with Zoey Hambleton having two kills and Keira Simmons one. Madison Macy made four assists and Simmons one.

Hambleton paced the Panther defense with 10 digs, with Macy and Jazmyn Sellers recording five apiece. Jaidyn Sellers, Elizabeth Snyder, Caitlyn Sloss and Cayden Iredale each made four digs, with Simmons tallying two and Hallie Arganbright one. Jaidyn Sellers had three total blocks and Simmons two.

Hambleton was 10-of-10 serving, with Simmons 4-of-4, Sloss and Jazmyn Sellers both 3-of-3 and Snyder 2-of-2 while Macy was 4-of-7 and Jaidyn Sellers 3-of-4 behind the line.

Panorama returns to action Thursday when they host Interstate-35 in conference play.
