The IGHSAU released the playoff brackets for Class 1A and 2A volleyball Monday, with local 2A teams Panorama and Woodward-Granger assigned to opposite sides of the Region 3 schedule.
Panorama will open first round play at Madrid Oct. 17. The winner faces host AC/GC Oct. 23, and, if advancing to the semifinals, would face either AHSTW, Underwood or No. 4 St. Albert, in Council Bluffs, Oct. 26.
Woodward-Granger will host Ogden when they begin play Oct. 17. A victory moves the winner to Neola to face host and ninth-ranked Tri-Center. Neola will also host the semifinal, with IKM-Manning, Eagle Grove or Fort Dodge St. Edmond the opposition.
The Region 3 Final will be played in Underwood Oct. 31. All contests begin at 7 p.m.
