PANORA — The Panorama wrestling season remained perfect Tuesday after the Panthers earned victories against WCAC foes Van Meter/Earlham and West Central Valley.

The Panthers (5-0) were 48-29 victors over VM/E and posted a 39-32 win over WCV.

Danny Nordquist (132 pounds), Emry Colby (145) and Kaleb Stogdill (160) were all 2-0 with both pins from each coming by pin fall. Wyatt Appleseth (138) and Gunnar Grunsted (170) were both 2-0 with a pin and a forfeit each while Dalton Holmes (195) was 2-0 with one win by pin and one by decision.

Trevor Carey (182), Brady Howard (220) and Dan Jensen (285) all finished 1-1, with each Panther victory coming via pin.

Also in action, but unable to post a win, were Logan Christe (106), Wyatt Clark (120) and Noah Kirtley (152). The Panthers left the 113 and 126 pound divisions open.

Panorama will be in action, beginning at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Central Decatur Invitational, a meet which will feature several quality teams and ranked individuals. The Panthers will appear at home only once more this season, when Lynnville-Sully, North Polk and Pleasantville visit for a quadrangular Jan. 25.
