PANORA — Panorama freshman Ella Waddle made it three Panthers from the Class of 2021 to earn All-District soccer recognition by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association.[wpedon id=”82220″ align=”center”]
Waddle was named to the Class 1A Southeast District Second Team, where she joined teammate Paige Cmelik, with Audrey Cmelik chosen for the First Team.
Audrey Cmelik finished the season with 25 goals and Paige with 20, and Waddle’s play was big part of the reason why. She finished tied for first in Class 1A with 17 assists, a total good enough to finish tied for fourth among all classes.
Not only accurate with her passing, Waddle was also a serious threat to score, as she found the nylon 14 times in helping Panorama to a 12-5 record in their inaugural season of varsity soccer.
