The Panorama High School Panther girls beat the Adair-Casey and Guthrie Center High School Chargers Friday night in a Pink Out game at home.
The state number-two ranked Panthers won 46-30.
“It was a great environment for basketball with the bleachers packed with fans,” said Coach Boettcher. “Our rebounding was one of the keys to the game along with handling the physical play.”
Tyme Boettcher led scoring with 16 points, with Jaidyn Sellers adding 15 and Morgan Crees 8.
Jaidy Sellers led on the boards with 15 rebounds, and Tyme Boettcher had 3 assists.
The Panthers play a makeup game Monday night against Van Meter. They will host Madrid Tuesday night and travel to Exira-Elk Horn Kimbolton on Thursday.
The Panther boys also has a strong showing Friday against the Chargers, winning 67-62.
Braylon Dawes came out ready for the Panthers with 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Maddox Hammerstrom added 15 points and 9 assists.
Next up for the Panthers is a Monday night makeup game at home against Van Meter, a Tuesday night matchup at home with Madrid and a Thursday trip to Exira-Elk Horn Kimbolton.
