PANORA, IA — In keeping with long local tradition, the king and queen of Panorama’s Homecoming were crowned in a ceremony at halftime of Friday’s game.
Candidates are giving chairs along the sideline for the field, in essence having front-front row seats for the game. All are introduced, and a coronation conducted, during the intermission.
Willow Buttler was crowned the 2022 Queen and Denver Davis was honored as Homecoming King.
Queen Willow was attended by her court of Kaidyn Dencklau, Kylie Doran, Justice Sheeder and Keira Simmons. Serving on the king’s court were Braedon Draper, Dane Kemble, Austin Stewart, and Thomas VanMeer.
Unfortunately for the Panthers the game did not finish in their favor, with Interstate-35 a 47-0 winner. Panorama returns to action Friday with a trip to West Central Valley.
