PANORA — For the first time in school history a volleyball season has begun with Panorama having tasted victory in each of their first three matches.

Panorama swept Ogden, 25-17, 25-16 and 25-19 Tuesday to move to 3-0 overall and 3-0 in WCAC play.

Brooke Halterman led the hosts with nine kills, with Morgan Johnk adding five kills, Bailey Beckman three and Olivia Richey two, with Kennedy Kuta and Erica Block having one kill apiece. Kuta distributed 19 assists and Beckman one, with Halterman making 2.5 blocks and Beckman .5 blocks[wpedon id=”85410″ align=”left”]

Block and Halterman paced the defense with eight digs apiece, with Johnk making seven digs and Hannah Woodworth six. Richey had five digs and Beckman three.

Halterman served 19-of-19 with six aces and Woodworth 14-of-16 with three aces. Kuta was 13-13-1 behind the line, with Richey 7-10-1, Johnk 5-7-1 and Block 7-of-8.

Panorama returns to action Saturday when they compete in the Coon Rapids-Bayard Classic. The Panther visit Madrid Tuesday, and then play in the Perry Invitational Sept. 6.
