PANORA — Hunter Holmes was dominant on the mound as host Panorama topped West Central Valley, 3-1, for a WCAC victory Monday.
Holmes pitched 6-1/3 innings, allowing just one run on three hits and two walks while finishing with 10 strikeouts to collect the win. Drew Taylor fanned both batters he faced to earn a nine-pitch save.
Taylor had a triple and single while driving in one run and scoring once. Evan Taylor and Brice Taylor also had hits.
Courtesy runner Evan Neuharth scored twice for Panorama, who plated single runs in the first, third and fifth innings. WCV scored their lone run in the sixth.
