PAWS entertains Harlan, Denison

The MCB Pool served as host site Jan. 2 for a triangular meet with squads from Denison and Harlan. Team scores are not kept at winter swim meets.

Numerous PAWS racers finished first in an event, either as an individual or as the member of a relay team.

For the Perry 8U girls, Jessa Hellman had four wins, Lillian Lucht three and Isabella Stein two, with Briella Nath and Afton Meyers each winning once. The 9-10 girls group received three wins from Meredith Arganbright, two each from Cali Knudsen and Malia Jacobsen and one apiece from Ellie Hughes and Kilee Hughes.

Maddie McDevitt was a triple winner in the 11-12 group, with Megan Underwood winning once. Five wins from Sophia McDevitt, four from Zoe Hibbert, and two from Emily Dowd highlighted the 13-14 squad.

The 15-18 girls saw Jaylene Karolus post five wins, Addison Huntington and Audrey Stowe four each and Ainsley Marburger three.

Renaud Deardorff was a quadruple winner for the PAWS boys 8U unit, with Chance Meyer, Roy Hughes, and Lyle Jacobsen each winning twice.

Andrew Baumert had two wins at 9-10, with Aden Hibbert, Dyson Deardorff, and Dexter Moe each winning one time, as did Isaac Winey in the 11-12 group.

Garrett Winey collected four wins in the 13-14 section, with the 15-18 boys receiving four wins apiece from Riese Archer and Andrew Dowd while Sam Ridnour won twice and Josh Pohl once.
