An 11-hit attack helped Pella improve to 26-8 overall with a 7-1 non-conference win over Perry at Progressive Field Monday.

The Bluejays fell to 11-18 overall and were held to two hits and an unearned run — scored in the fifth — by Dutch starter Lucas Hileman. He finished with three strikeouts and walked two in six innings and was relieved by Landon Vander Leest, who fanned one in an inning of work.

Pella scored three runs in the third to open a 3-0 lead, then scored four runs in the top of the sixth to cap the scoring.

Grand Judkins was 3-for-5 with two runs scored and Vander Leest 2-for-4, with Caleb Piersma 2-for-2 while scoring once. Hileman scored twice and hit a double, with Jaden Rolffs driving in two runs with a double.
