Perry area’s scary Halloween schedules announced

The Perry City Council has designated Monday, Oct. 30 from 6-8 p.m. as “Trick or Treat Night” or “Beggars’ Night” in Perry. The Perry City Hall encourages residents to turn on their porch lights if they are handing out treats, and to drive safely during the witching hours.

Other Halloween activities around Perry include the Dallas County Hospital’s Safe and Healthy Halloween event Monday, Oct. 30 from 5-6:30 p.m. DCH encourages people to bring the kids and enjoy a fun and safe night of trick-or-treating.

The annual Trick or Treat SPOOK-tacular will also take place Monday, Oct. 30 from 4-6 p.m. in downtown Perry. The event is a fun Halloween celebration that includes safe trick-or-treating with Perry merchants.

The Perry Fire Association’s Haunted Barn will be held Oct. 13 and 14, Oct. 20 and 21 and Oct. 27 and 28 from 7-11 p.m. each night. The cost is $5 per person. The Haunted Barn is located in the Perry Marketplace at the corner of First and Willis avenues.
