Several of Perry’s high school teams were in action Tuesday.

Not competition, but action.

After Monday’s storm dealt widespread damage throughout the city, many teams spent Tuesday helping with clean up efforts.

Several members of both cross country teams gathered at the high school, ran to Violet Hill cemetery, and there busied themselves in sprucing up the area. Others busy about the community were members of the girls basketball team as well as several football players.
