The Perry football team begins Class 3A District 2 action by hosting Ballard at Dewey Field tonight, and the Perry Booster Club will be making their presence felt.
Those interested in joining the Booster Club can stop by the membership drive table next to the ticket booth. New members or those renewing their spot in the club can drop off their membership application or complete one on site.
The Booster Club will also be grilling pork loin sandwiches, will which be available in the concession stand.
The Jays Nest — located next to the concession stand — will be stocked full of the new Perry, Bluejay and Jayette apparel for the season as well as several new merchandise items. Hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts, crew necks, hoodies, blankets, chairs and more (oh my!) will be available.
Action begins with the freshman game at 4:45 p.m. with the varisty contest to follow. Other Perry home dates this season include Sept. 22 against DC-G (Homecoming), Oct. 6 against Webster City and Oct. 13 against Greene County in the traditional Cow Bell contest.
