It is not exactly going home again, but close enough.
Perry Elementary’s Trevor Miller has tendered his resignation effective June 30. He is leaving to become superintendent of schools at Exira/Elk Horn-Kimballton, only a short drive from Denison, his home town.
“It is only about a half hour away from family, so it close to being back home,” Miller said.
Earning his superintendent license was a career goal, he said, and the opportunity to find a school system “the size I was looking for” and also so close to his roots was simply too good to pass up, he said.
