Among the diversions and highlights at the 2018 Perry High School Homecoming pep rally was the PHS Bluejay mascot and Aiden Parmenter, 10, a fifth grader at the Perry Elementary School, teaming up for a Keke Challenge.

“The cheerleaders thought it would be fun to have the Bluejay kick off the assembly by doing the Keke Challenge,” said Mandi Kay of Perry, Aiden’s mom. “The cheer coaches and cheerleaders asked my son, Aiden, to drive the little car to make it seem more like the real thing.”

The Keke Challenge is an internet phenomenon in which a passenger in a moving vehicle exits the vehicle and is videotaped dancing alongside the vehicle to the sound of Drake’s “In My Feelings,” a popular rap song.
