The Perry Booster Club is turning to the public for help in keeping the Bluejay football team hydrated this season.
Raccoon Valley Bank, 1202 Second Street in Perry, will be accepting donations of sports drinks Monday-Friday next week. Fans can bring their gift to the lobby, from where, at the end of the week, they will be given to the Bluejay gridders.
Perry opens their season Friday at North Polk, with a trip to Nevada scheduled for September 1. Ballard visits Dewey Field September 8 for the home, and District 2, opener for Perry.
