Three members of the Perry boys cross country team and and five runners from the Perry girls squad have been awarded All-Academic status by the Raccoon River Conference.
To earn such recognition an athlete must be in grades 10-12, earn a varsity letter, and produce a GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale.
Chase Archer, Hayden McFarland and Cole Nelson were the Bluejays honored, with Molly Lutmer, Hannah Peterson, Cris Gomez, Taylor Eppert and Kennedy Tunink the Jayettes recognized.
In addition, the Jayette harriers earned a Distinguished Academic Achievement award from the IGHSAU for posting a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher.
