ADEL, Iowa — Former Raccoon River Conference Perry visited an old nemesis and ex-league rival ADM Monday, with the host Tigers claiming both contests.

ADM (4-6) was a 59-40 winner over Perry (4-5) in the opener, with the Tigers (4-4) a 74-28 victor over the Bluejays (0-7).

The hosts raced to a 19-9 first quarter lead in the girls game en route to a 30-17 advantage at the intermission. Any thoughts of a Perry comeback were dashed by a 21-12 ADM edge in the third quarter and the Jayettes could not make up the gap.

Perry sank 10-of-14 at the free throw line, with Lydia Olejniczak 10-of-12 as part of her game-high 22 points. Jayna Kenney had eight points, Kathryn West and Callie Steva four apiece while Maci Tunink had two points.

Nicole Storck (16), Olivia Tollari (12) and Claire Greenslade (10) led ADM, who sank 9-of-15 at the charity stripe.

ADM hit 12 3-pointers in the boys game, with Perry making only three. Adam Bryte drained five treys (four in the first half) as the Tigers knocked down nine first-half 3-pointers to hold a 45-9 lead at the break. Bryte led the hosts with 15 points.

The hosts kept the attack humming in the third period, using a 21-5 run to generate a 66-14 gulf at the start of the fourth quarter.

Kaelan Davis and Zander Mahler had six points apiece for Perry. Geren Kenney tallied five points, Drake Levan four, with Holden Smith having three points, and Owen Myers and Caden Steva two each.

Davis had two 3-pointers for the Jays, with Kenney sinking one.
