Perry junior varsity wrestles at North Polk tourney

ALLEMAN — Fifteen wrestlers from Perry competed Saturday at the North Polk Junior Varsity Tournament, with two Bluejays winning their bracket and three placing second.

Tanner Burgin and Ever Tobar each finished first in their division, with Ian Castellanos, Amos Barrios-Munoz and Christian Simmons all finishing in second place.

Third place results in individual brackets were posted by Alex Fickbohm, Jose Flores, Alan Gomez, Leonard Jacobson and Tomas Lopez.

Zach Darr, Charley Guardado, Sebastian Hernandez and Rylee Ray all finished in fourth place, with Carlos Gonzalez placing fifth. A total of 18 were represented at the tourney.
