The Perry Ministerial Association (PMA) has announced it will host Lenten services in five churches around the Perry community.
Lent begins Wednesday, Feb. 22, and the schedule for the Tuesday services follows:
- Tuesday, Feb. 28 at the St. Martin’s Episcopal Church
- Tuesday, March 7 at the First Christian Church
- Tuesday, March 14 at the Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church
- Tuesday, March 21 at the First Presbyterian Church
- Tuesday, March 28 at the First United Methodist Church in Perry
The Lenten services will begin each week at 12:05 p.m., with lunch to follow. An offering will be received as part of the worship service. This offering helps the work of the PMA’s Good Samaritan Fund, which aids individuals and families in the community in crisis situations.
“Please join us for one or all of the Tuesday Lenten services,” the PMA said.
