DES MOINES — Perry’s Zachary Thompson finished in third place in Class 2A at 120 pounds, with teammate Kaleb Olejniczak fourth at 113.
Panorama’s Gunnar Grundsted was fifth at 170, George Appleseth sixth at 132 and Tyler Van Houten seventh at 152. The Panthers compete in Class 1A.
Woodward-Granger senior Tanner Vermaas placed sixth at 182 in Class 2A. Hawk freshman Cody Fisher will wrestle later tonight for the state championship at 195 pounds.
