The playoff brackets for all three classes of girls soccer were recently released by the IGHSAU, with 1A Panorama and 2A Perry learning the routes they must navigate in order to reach the state tournament for the first time.
Perry will host the winner of the May 23 contest between Collins-Maxwell and Boone May 28 at Dewey Field in 2A Region 4 action. The winner advances to the June 3 Regional Final against either No. 3 ADM or Ballard or Webster City, the latter two of which meet May 23.
Panorama hosts Creston in a 1A Region 3 Quarterfinal May 28, with the winner facing the Grand View Christian vs. No. 7 North Polk winner, in Alleman, May 31. The June 3 Regional Final will be played at the highest remaining seed.
Des Moines Christian, ranked 15th, plays Chariton and WCV/NV battles Clarke in the bottom half of the Region 3 bracket.
All contests will begin at 6 p.m.
