The Perry Piecemakers Quilt Guild held its annual three-day quilting retreat in the Spring Valley Ballroom of the Hotel Pattee this weekend.
“Visitors are always welcome,” said Nikki Whitney, co chair of the Perry Piecemakers Quilt Guild Co-chair Nikki Whitney.
Now in its 23rd year, the Perry Piecemakers Quilt Guild meets monthly for programs in quilting techniques. They also host a spring shopping trip.
Members participate in a variety of community projects for non-profit agencies, volunteering to make military quilts, baby quilts for hospitals, table toppers for nursing homes and many other worthy causes.
