The Perry Piecemakers Quilt Guild is hosting its annual three-day quilting retreat at the Spring Valley Ballroom in the Hotel Pattee through Saturday.
This year’s retreat is held in conjunction with the Artist off the Courtyard event set for Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors are welcome to attend both events, which are free and open to the public.
Now in its 21st year, the Perry Piecemakers Quilt Guild meets monthly for programs in quilting techniques. They also host a spring shopping trip.
Members participate in a variety of community projects for non-profit agencies, volunteering to make military quilts, baby quilts for hospitals, table toppers for nursing homes and many other worthy causes.
