  • A caller from the Dallas County Hospital said “they released a female” who “doesn’t have a place to stay.” The caller said she was “concerned for her welfare.” Officers responded but did not find the homeless person.
  • “A screaming lady” called the Perry Police Department and “left a voicemail.” All officers responded but were “unable to locate any problem in the area.”
  • A caller said he went to a local retail store “to show off his new hair color, and a cook shouted at him to get out from the back.”
  • A caller said “her son found a hatchet and destroyed the lock and other parts of a shed in the area.” An officer responded and found “no visible damage to the lock or the shed.”
  • A caller from outside the city limits of Perry said “his ex-girlfriend was at his residence,” and “there is a restraining order in place.” The Dallas County Sheriff’s office was notified.
  • A caller said “she wanted to file harassment charges on her ex-husband, who lives in Des Moines.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “he lost his crutches” and “needs help looking for them.” An officer responded. The caller said “he found them.”
  • A caller said “he caught” a juvenile male “going through his parked vehicle.” Officers responded but were “unable to locate the juvenile.”
  • A caller said “she found a set of keys for a PT Cruiser in her coat pocket.” The caller “was advised to bring them to the police department as soon as she could.”

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
