June 2, 2022

  • Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 600 block of Willis Avenue. The case is under investigation.
  • A 2018 Ford Escape, registered to and driven by Thomas Stokely of 2017 First Ave., Perry, collided with a 2009 Jeep, registered to Jennifer Ruth Lauer of 2110 W. Fourth St., Perry, and driven by Alyssa Lynn Grow of 2110 W. Fourth St., Perry. No injuries were reported. Minor damage was reported.

June 3, 2022

  • Lisa Renee Bandfield, 55, of 323 Lucinda St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension and on a Franklin County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge driving under suspension.
  • Officers responded a report of criminal mischief in to the 900 block of Graceland Avenue. Te incident is under investigation.

  • No activity reported.

June 5, 2022

  • John Wayne Smith, 56, of 2525 Grand Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a charge of driving while barred.
  • Angela Marie Katzmann, 40, of 2620 McKinley St., Perry, was arrested on charges of second-offense possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A 2007 GMC Acadia, registered to Reina Maribel Pimentel Callejas of 308 Pattee St., Perry, and driven by Juan Luis Augustine Baltazar of unknown address collided with a legally parked 2006 Ford Mustang, registered to and driven by Mike Angel Martinez of 703 Grove St., Perry. No injuries were reported. Martinez was issued a citation for failure to provide proof of insurance and no driver’s license.
  • A 2007 Suzuki, registered to Ana Delia Chavez of 2902 Iowa St., Perry, and driven by Luna Eliana Contreras of unknown address collided with a 1998 Ford F150, registered to and driven by Caleb Armondo Alamina of 728 William St., Perry, near Third and Estella streets. No injuries were reported. Chavez was issued a citation for no valid driver’s license and a written warning for failure to obey yield sign.
